Calling all students in English 101, 101P, 197, 102, and 202! Join the Writing Center for the Portfolio Push, a reoccurring study event near the end of every semester. The end of the semester can be a stressful time with a lot of deadlines looming. By attending a Portfolio Push you can count on having an uninterrupted, focused block of time to concentrate on your writing. Here is what happens at a typical Portfolio Push: you come to a Liberal Arts Building computer classroom, put the finishing touches on your final course portfolio, get advice from an on-duty Writing Center consultant, and take a break with a cookie and a cup of coffee or tea as needed. The Portfolio Pushes are held during dead week and finals week to help students prepare their writing portfolio. Sessions happen in three hour blocks, and students can receive proof of attendance.
Register here to attend one or more of the Portfolio Push events.
