Poetry Night is a collaboration between the Writing Center and the English Majors’ Association that creates an opportunity for writers of poetry at the undergraduate level to share their work.  Readings are held in the Student Union Building twice every semester.

These readings differ from other readings in that there is no submission process in order to read. A sign-up sheet is located in the Writing Center (first-come, first-serve) with preference for those who haven’t read at a campus event before. Usually there are 10–15 readers.

If you’d like to receive email notifications of upcoming readings and calls for readers, please send an email to to join our email list! For more information, please contact Melissa Hughes at the contact information above.
